THE STUDIO

CASA FABRI, founded by FABRICIO CARDENAS, takes its name from Fabri, his shortened name. Born from a love of form, material, and craft, the studio is at its core a space for experimentation — a place where materials, techniques, and craftsmanship come together and inform one another.

Cardenas' approach begins with material and the possibilities it holds. Rather than treating materials as fixed or predictable, Casa Fabri explores their character, challenges their limitations, and embraces the unexpected outcomes of the making process. Technique is not simply a means to an end, but an integral part of the design. The result is a practice where form emerges through experimentation, and where craft is not merely the execution of an idea, but an essential part of its conception.
